Costs and Terms of Business

Crested Cushions are made to order. The embroidered crests and mottoes are hand worked in gold, silver or coloured threads on a velvet background, and completed with a feather pad.

Our standard cushion is 18”x18” (45cm x 45cm). We can make other sizes and other shapes, but these may be subject to a small additional charge, depending on what is required

Price

The normal price for a standard cushion with a crest (with or without a motto) is £150. If the customer requires a coat of arms or other complex image to be embroidered on the cushion, the price is £175.

We do not charge for our involvement in the design process.

Discount

An order of more than one cushion placed at the same time and in the same design will receive a discount in price of 10%.

An order of more than ten cushions in the same design may receive larger discount in the price, depending on the number involved.

Payment

When the design has been approved by the customer, who then confirms that we should proceed with the manufacture, we require settlement of 50% of the total cost of the order before manufacturing can start.

Once the completed order has been sent to the customer, we require the unpaid balance of the total cost to be settled within seven days.

Payment can be made by cheque (in £, drawn on a UK bank and payable to The LCY Partnership) or by credit or debit card. Please note that we do not accept payment by American Express cards.

Title

Good title to the goods does not pass until the total cost has been settled in full.
