Apart from the usual details, to start creating your Crested Cushion we need to see an image of the design (and motto, if it is to be incorporated in the cushion) you wish to have embroidered. It is best if you provide this and that it is in colour if you want the final result to be multi-coloured.

If you are uncertain about your crest, we may be able to find it in one of our source books. Also, if the image is complex, it may have to be simplified to render it into embroidered stitches.

We will produce a design, send it to you, and ask you to confirm that you approve and that you wish us to proceed with making the cushion. You will be asked to confirm also what colour velvet (navy blue, royal blue, dark green, red, burgundy, dark brown, beige, yellow and black) and cushion size you require.

When the cushion has been made, we will check the design and the workmanship, add the cushion pad and send it to you. For obvious reasons, we do not include cushion pads for orders that are to be sent to countries outside the UK.

Because this is a bespoke business with each item being made to order, the whole process takes between six and eight weeks. However, it may be that it will take longer in busy times, such as the build up to Christmas.
